Project launch for Campaign Zero:
Qualified immunity protects the police from civil liability when they violate an individual’s constitutional rights. People harmed, injured, or killed by police rarely receive justice or compensation for damages. Victims of police misconduct and their families often spend years in court seeking justice only for officers to be shielded by qualified immunity. Many cases don’t make it to trial at all.
I feel very fortunate to be amongst such a great group of people. Looking forward to November 19th!

Ruth Murray – RN and BSN and consultant, focusing on using movement to solve physiological and psychological challenges.
Justin Romano – Child and adolescent psychiatry fellow at Creighton University, and cohost of the Podcast Millennial Mental Health Channel, taking about the mental health crisis we absorb through our eyes, cellphones.
Lee Running – Sculptor and artist, working with a range of medium engaging the viewers relationship with the natural world. Her sculptures, installations and drawings have been shown throughout the US, discussing the social interconnectedness of human and animals.

Hi, it’s Nebraska. You know those moments when you gotta leave it all on the field? Well, this is one of those moments. SHARE images of cool candidates. TALK to your buds about the election. And then get ready to VOTE.
When freedom is attacked, vote for democracy. These times we’re living in are certainly threatening, but I think we’ll prevail. And there will be a future for those who come after us. To ensure that happens, get out there into the political process, mix it up, and do what you can. And then vote. The right to the future is freedom, and the right to vote is freedom.
