Never An All Nighter
I’ve never done one. Didn’t want to, so I haven’t. There’s always a point of diminishing returns, so why force it. Get some rest, see you tomorrow.
Swim with the current
Both personally and professionally, I’ve found I naturally gravitate away from people who make my life harder. And toward those who make it easier. I think I used to feel guilt about this fact. These days, I do not.
And I never heard back...
Oh the times I’ve put in a bunch of effort back and forth with someone who wanted a proposal to work together and in the end never heard from them again with no explanation whatsoever.
Diminishing Returns
When more design just doesn’t do it. And nothing really will. Sometimes there’s an end, that isn’t what you were hoping for, but that’s still how it is.
Optimal Line Length
You know, how books work. If you want people to read your text, then make sure you don’t wear out their eyes.

And then work with great people you trust to pull you reel you back in when needed.
