ACLU: Let People Vote

A campaign with the ACLU to help protect voting rights for all Americans in the 2012 election. In short, voter fraud does not exist. However, these very real voter suppression tactics keep eligible voters from voting, the most basic right in our democracy.

The infographic gives an overview of voter suppression and looks at registration, early voting and voter ID. Posted online as well as printed out for field teams to help organize efforts on the ground. We also called attention to a voter suppression case in Wisconsin of Ruthelle, an elderly woman eligible to vote but who has no accepted form of photo ID.

The Let People Vote effort is working to remove restrictions and barriers to voting and make sure every eligible American is able to vote.
